Sulfur Recovery Units

The Claus plant is controlled with one feedforward loop and a feedback loop. For the feedforward control is used an acid gas analyzer that measures H₂S, NH₃, CO₂ and H₂O and for the feedback control is used a tail gas analyzer that controls the plant measuring the H₂S and SO₂ ratio. For enviromental monitoring is used a gas analyzer located in the stack that measures NO_x and SO₂ emissions.

We are exclusive representatives of AMETEK Thermox, which uses on-site analyzers for the measurement of oxygen, fuel and methane in flue gas avoiding the use of sampling systems.

Gas Leaks

At G Controls we offer security solutions for gas leak detection using perimeter technology based on laser spectroscopy. This technology minimizes the number of point detectors that may exist in a plant. Our allies Boreal Laser have equipment capable of detecting clouds of hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), ammonia (NH₃), hydrogen fluoride (HF) in tank yards or industrial equipment to guarantee the safety of the plant and physical integrity of its personnel.
